  7. my take.. i didnt ship them cause since the beginning i knew they wont end up together moreover jungyeong never showed any romantic feelings for him BUT MY SEOJUN portrayed his feelings SO WELL even if it was one sided their friendship, moments was so fun too watch.. there was love for her in seojun’s eyes he protected her time to time ??? inyeop is definitely a great actor his character was also cold-ish type at first but he didnt stick to that only.. now im off to watching his rest shows ❤‍?❤‍?❤‍?

  10. I have mixed felling about the ending mainly because of seo Jun not ending up with someone, I kept hoping that he would have an eye on someone, heck Anyone but he didn’t. I’m not made at soo ho or lim jungun for their relationship, I find it cute but I’m angry at the fate that seo Jin ended with no one. But best first k drama series ever. Plus I think I might have a virus?

    i like suho nd jukyung but still…
    seojun deserved wayy better
    i wish there was another season with seojun as the main lead with some1 else!!!

If i were the girl, the moment Soo ho broke up with me for that dumb ass of an excuse, it would have been end of his chapter in my life…he doesn’t get to take me to the 7th heaven and then push me from there for no apparent reason…It would have been taken me ages to put my shattered self back together…even after that i would not be ever the same…then he has the audacity to get back and act like nothing happened….i would have dropped him like a bad habit….cause the one who claims to love wouldn’t hurt me so cruelly and callously. would I run to sae jun? well, i donno, most probably not, at least not this soon (provided she just got to know about his feeling), but at least i would have held him in a place of utmost respect…on a side note, the female lease cannot cry to save her life…every sequence that was built up for some heart wrenching moment, she ruined it for me for her somewhat comical face tears…absolutely poor attempt on her part.

    2. I finished this drama yesterday, I have mixed feelings, the whole drama in general gave me a huge headache but I have no regrets. I couldn’t understand Ju Kyung in the end, I understand she couldn’t get over Su Ho yet but wtf – he broke up with her on the phone, made her suffer even more and then what? he came back like nothing happened. Seo Jun on the other hand was by her side the whole time, taking care of her, keeping his feelings a secret. It’s true that he deserved more, but I think the ending was okay because if he wanted her back this would mean to break his friendship with Sohu and Ju Kyong as well.

  13. Ohhh its over. Too cute. Soo sad that i dont have any episodes to watch. Really enjoyed this drama. Made me cry a lot. But im speechless its a work of art. Whyy cant reality be like a kdrama????.

  16. Since the past 2 episodes, I’ve been crying so much during this… this I my 2nd kdrama ever and I love it so much…. I still feel sad for seojun, I wish he would get someone too I wanted him to end up with Jukyung but I don’t want suho to be left alone either TnT

  20. I finally turned 13 and the first K-drama watched was True beauty, I was so surprised by their amazing acting and the storyline. My mother didn’t let me watch any k-drama till I turned 13. before I should watch my country shows and movies but it was so boring, all it does is fighting. And weird storylines. And all the western movies/shows I watched were for babies but it was much better than my country movies. But I’m sooo glad I turned 13. 😀 ^0^

I mean I get it, they altered the webtoon story so it would fit a drama and yes, I see why she would end up with Lee Su Ho here but I simply can’t separate it… My man Han Seo Jun, my one and only, knowing the webtoon story and being an avid reader I can’t not have a knot in my heart. That hug he gave her in fron of SuHo… I cry!!! On the real story they didn’t have such a past and ImJoo never dated Su Ho, they shared feelings for each other but it was abrupptly cut by his dad condition, Our Seo Jun remained on her side and won her heart fair and square and she fell in love with him for real, all she had here with Su Ho she really had with Seo Jun and it pains me. I get the idea and the drama was very nice to watch but my heart still broke.

    1. Okay so I didn’t read the webtoon yet but I completely fell in love with Seo jun from the beginning and I felt SO bad that I even cried a little when they didn’t end up together. I really wish he could have had more of a chance. They didn’t even get their 3 dates

  39. wow finally finished this in 3 days. its almost 4 am and i dont regret finishing this drama. its an amazing story, omg- the amount of times ive cried beacuse of they’re dead friend ahhhh. i feel a little bad for seo yun. cant believe what happened between Ju Kyung and So hoo after all those years, it really made me confused and i didnt know who to ship. i love the ending and this is a drama ill definitly rewatch sometime. really hope there will be a season two im so sad that its over. i feel so connected to the characters and its like we share the pain. this had a big impact on me ill never forget what i felt watching this. also like half of the story was about when they were in highschool. it was kinda sad how fast everything went after episode 14. god i really love this story its really different from other things ive seen and read. Its perfect, whether youre new to korean dramas or watch it all the time you should really watch this (since youre reading this ig u probably just finished it) i think this is a story everyone can learn from i recommend watching this drama. hope you guys enjoyed it

  48. wow, i absolutely cannot believe i finally finished true beauty. i went throught a lot of emotions while watching all 16 episodes. happiness, sadness, second-hand embarassment, awkwardness, extreme emotions man ? im so sad that this is over, and im so sad that seojun didn’t get his happy ending, but im glad suho & jugyeong were able to overcome their struggles to be together. TRUE BEAUTY STAFF, IM PRAYING TO YOU GUYS, PLEASE MAKE A SEASON 2!!! I AM NOT OVER THIS YET!! I WILL WATCH THIS FOREVER AND NEVER GET SICK OF IT.   51. Although it is quite different from the webtoon, I still enjoyed this K drama so much! I feel like it was a fun sort of AU of the webtoon and I was so excited to see some of my favorite characters come to life! All in all, this was a really fun expirience!

    1. i agree, in the drama they made seojins feelings for her seem completely one sided, but in the webtoon it was an actual love triangle. also soo jins character was completely changed. i’m a lil glad for that thought because they made her more in depth instead of just a jealous pretty girl with family issues, but i don’t like how much they changed it front when webtoon, it’s just like a similar storyline with the same names

      1. i so agree, the webtoon and the kdrama are pretty different, but to each their own. the events in each weren’t exactly the same, but i’m glad they made it as unique as it was. i love the webtoon, but i love the kdrama too. i am so hoping for a season 2 tho ???

  61. Oh finally the happy ending. I have been so thrilled to watch the whole 16 episodes full of drama, emotions, romance and comedy. It’s the best K-drama of it’s genre, there’s was no boring/dulling moment from start to finish, very exciting. I hope it’s perfectly awarded. Every Actor was spectacular. Thanks, Dramacool?

  62. i’m so fucking sad it ended but man, thanks to the cast and producers for making this into a kdrama, and thanks to her who showed me the original webtoon and got me into this, she knows who she is. i’m glad it ended this way but i was hoping we could see more as the webtoon went on for longer. anyways thanks to drama cool for supplying the episodes of not only this kdrama but plenty more punctually with subs so we could all watch it. i’ll be sure to rewatch this 🙂

  88. Im crying omllll… as a manga reader who have been reading the comics eversince they came out and were even remade, I found this side of the story really amazing. I always wished Su Ho had a chance to go out with Ju-kyung, so I’m extremely happy that he finally had the ending and outcome he wished he had in the comics. For those that are in Seo-jun’s team, I highly recommend reading the Webtoon, yall’s wishes will become true and perhaps some of you will understand why I was so happy with this outcome. I wish there would be another season, because I love this show so much. But the ending is really good and better than I could expect.
