Synopsis: This drama tells the story of a group of intellectuals trying to protect china’s national treasures in order to preserve their national heritage.

After the Mukden Incident on September 18, 1931 (the invasion of the Japanese to the north China), military officer Ren Hong Yi(Liu Ye) and Forbidden city worker Zhou Ruo Xi(Yuan Shanshan) are on a mission of safely transporting national treasures further South to ensure that they do not fall into the wrong hands. “As long as there are cultural roots, China will not fall.”
