Synopsis: Chinese historical drama “The Legend of Sun Zhowei” revolves around the life of Sun Ruowei, one of the empresses of the Ming dynasty .

In 1402, Sun Ruo Wei(Tang Wei)’s entire family is killed on the orders of the Yongle Emperor. Sun Ruo Wei is secretly adopted by Sun Zhong and escapes death. By chance, she becomes the concubine of crown prince Zhu Zhanji (Zhu Ya Wen) and secretly starts to investigate the death of her family. However, as she falls in love with Zhu Zhanji and realizes the devastating consequences to destabilise the court, she decides to abandon her revenge plans and support Zhu Zhanji become the emperor.
