  1. I am here to inform u my pipo that am done watching this and this is my opinion
I think this drama was 50/50 . I can’t say it’s the best but it’s just FINE so whoever want to watch it just go for it tho alot of sad episodes so get ready to cry ? and about the ending of it i think it was ok since shuyuan was free at the end of all the misery and the sufferings she went through.

NB. If u watched Ruyi’s love in the palace then y not this one . Wish u all the best ✌

  2. I watched this drama…. It was not as smoothly acted and edited as many c-dramas currently being seen now a days…. However, the story-line is good… But, unfortunately the editing of this drama left many holes in the tale. The ending is set up I do believe to leave room for a future Season III to this drama. I would recommend watching this drama…. I did view all 50 episodes…hence you can take my word for it…it is worth the viewing… I thoroughly enjoyed Zhao Bin’s acting and the lead female actor was good…however, when they do cast for Season III of this epic tale, I hope the get a better casting director and ‘heaven help ’em, a NEW EDITOR’… The subtitles were on point… and the visuals (costuming, background props) were great…. All that having been said, it was a good show….
