Synopsis: Since childhood, 25-year-old Suenaga Hijiri dreams of becoming a teacher. After she graduates from university, she gets a job as a high school teacher in a remote village. There, Hijiri meets a third-grade student Akira, who falls in love with her at first sight.

Hijiri has a fiancé, Katsutaro, who works for a large company. They have been dating since Hijiri’s at university. Now their relationship is undergoing the test of distance, because Katsutaro is sent to work in Osaka. Although Hijiri is careful to not let herself go beyond the teacher-student relationship, she soon realizes that she is starting to fall in love with Akira.
