  1. Bellissimo dramma, bella la musica, la recitazione e la bromance. Ma anche la Romance é ben fatta specialmente negli anni 30, cioé il sacrificio di non potere avere rapporti di amore per la causa della lotta contro i Giapponesi…non é cosa da poco. Infatti quando il Capo muore tiene in mano la foto della sua amata per la quale aveva scelto di restare uomo e scendere in città pere salvare sia lei che il suo più caro amico. Una grande storia di amicizia.

I watched about 15 minutes of this drama in 2017 and nixed it, because the storyline seemed silly and because the male lead was so…shall I say “unhandsome.” No really, with those awful glasses and his horrible, skin-head haircut, he was downright, if not ugh-lee, definitely “ugh!” I revisited it in 2021. The ML is still ugh, but the storyline was better than I thought. I wonder who gave that poor kid the awful haircut? He is actually attractive in his past-life self, with decent hair and nice, thin-rimmed round glasses. His acting isn’t stellar, but it’s decent. Still, he looks like a high-school student. He is a really bad cast for this role.

    1. If you understand about the current self of ML you’ll get it why he was given such school boy cut. Every time he meets his brother he tells him to drop his idol look & write like a crazy person. Also it’s my perception that he has given a slightly negative vibe like damn care about anything & only choose to lead a cozy life which is why the character dropped fashionable look.
